My Top 10 Favorite Children’s Books

I absolutely love reading children’s books.

The humor, the emotions, the characters, the story – a great children’s book brings it all together.

I dream of having a library in my house someday; one whole shelf will be dedicated to the books I plan to write.

Having three young kids makes a great excuse for me to buy and read them often and I have many, many favorites.

Today I’ll share 10 of my favorite picture books with you and yes, it was very difficult to narrow it down.

These are books that I could read over and over and I’d encourage you to either add them to your own collection or look for them at your local library.

I hope you enjoy them as much as my kids and I do.

I couldn’t very well write a list of my favorite children’s book without including one of my own. This is the first book I ever wrote and something I’m very proud of. It isn’t perfect and you won’t find it on any bestseller lists, but it was a dream of mine that was made into a reality.

Someday I hope this book will sit with many others that I dream of writing.

Now you share.

What’s a favorite children’s book of yours?
