Mini Mailboxes

February begins next week and with it being one of my most favorite months, I wanted to find a way to make it even more fun with my kids.

I found these cute little mailboxes in the Dollar Spot at Target and couldn’t resist. I bought a different color for each one of them and stenciled their names on.

Next I took some inexpensive white candle holders I found at Ikea, spray painted them black and let them dry for 30 minutes.

I used E-6000 to glue the mailboxes onto the candle holders. Hot glue doesn’t adhere to the metal so you have to use something stronger.

I love the way they turned out and the kids were excited to see them this morning.

I plan to put a small treat, surprise or card inside for the kids to find each morning starting February 1st until the 14th.

A fun and simple way to remind them of how much they are loved!

The total cost of this project for all three mailboxes was just under $20.

Be sure to let me know if you try it out yourself.
