Popsicle Garland

Summer officially begins next week and we’re ready for it!

I thought it would be fun to plan a few surprises for my boys when they get home from their last day of school and this Popsicle garland I saw on Pinterest will be a fun touch.

It’s super simple to make and only cost $5 in supplies I picked up from the Dollar Store.

Supplies needed:

  • Pool noodles in assorted colors
  • Exacto knife or sharp kitchen knife
  • Craft sticks
  • Hot glue gun
  • Making tape
  • String or bakers twine

Begin by cutting your pool noodles with an exacto knife (or if your husband happens to own good chef knives like mine does, those work too)

I cut my pool noodles 5 inches long

Put a decent amount of hot glue onto one end of a craft stick and place it inside the noodle

You can make a double Popsicle by simply gluing two noodles together

Once your Popsicles are made, use making tape to secure the string or bakers twine onto the back of each Popsicle

Hang where you want and that’s it – you’re done!

Super simple and such a fun, colorful way to celebrate the start of summer.
